Thomas Humery Klover

{Sidenote: This may be my most favorite outfit in the history of outfits. She looks……AMAZING. The profile silhouette of those sick lace-up wedge boots popping out from her skinnyskinny jeans? The street-girl edge that the hood and all-black look give? The sheer black lace sleeves? The way that vest billows out? OBSESSEDOBSESSEDOBSESSED. This girl is HOT. If I were a guy, this would be the girl that I wanted to date. Gorgeous, sick style with a tinge of bad-ass to it but still feminine and hot. This is someone who knows how to dress. #inlove}

I have discovered a street style fashion blog that is an utter and complete GOLDMINE. Sartorialist, yeah yeah. StockholmStreetStyle, ok. Caroline’s Mode, sure. BUT KLOVER (By Thomas Humery) is my number one. There is something about the quality of the photos (whatever camera he uses), the subjects he chooses to capture, the size of the photos, the layout of his blog, and the details he includes in the captions that just CAPTURED  my heart and attention. He’ll say things like:

“Anja is 19 years old from Berlin. She studied in London and now lives in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. She likes Paris a lot. She does social media strategy and quite likes to travel. Her tattoos contrasted her sweet look nicely. I would have loved to know her a little bit more but her chauffeur was there and she had to go and she went… with a loveley smile… See you next time Anja.”

There is a very clear language barrier and so his English is sweet and broken and it makes for these lovely little vigniette stories that if someone DIDN’T have a language barrier would seem contrived. Instead they are perfect.

I am MADLY in love. I went through every. single. photo. from beginning to end and catalouged my favorites. I cannot get enough of this man and surprisingly, there is VERY little about him on the internet. I only did some preliminary reserach but there are no interviews, no articles, no wikkipedia page. Nothing really. He does some high profile work for Vogue and does photograph celebrites and models here and there, but mostly his photography is of street people in Paris, Brooklyn, and Sweden. Just…anyone who catches his eye. I feel connected to his ‘eye’ because there wasn’t a single photograph of a person who I didn’t also find madly interesting. I love him.

{COULDN’T be more obsessed with this photo and this girl. I wish I looked like her. All I want to wear forever is a comfortable & faded blue oxford, custard yellow jean cut-offs, and a sick pair of ankle boots with a great-looking blow-out. Seriously I am depressed I don’t own this outfit and look like this person, and that Thomas Humery is not my personal photographer.}

{What a GORGEOUS girl, no? Flawless skin, perfect face, she looks so cute in those huge glasses. I want to be her.}

HHHOTTTIES

I love how the men of Milan dress. After browsing through The Sartorialist for literally four hours last night, I’ve decided that men from Milan have some of the best style on the globe. Like….YUM.

Really digging…

this outfit from an old Sartorialist post.

I think the denim wide leg pants are a light jean but they almost look mint-green in my color confusion and I think I’d like them better if they were in fact a really pretty pastel mint. I want a pair NOW.

It’s hard to wear an outfit like this and not look costume-y– to not look like you are dressing up as Ali Macgraw from the 70′s.  Somehow she makes it work.

Sick boots and bag and skinnies. I stumbled upon this photo on Carolinesmode and was soo excited to see after a closer look that I own that sweater from Free People, as seen below. It was my favorite purchase of the fall. You can’t tell but it has a babydoll cut and an exposed seam down the middle.

Bag: Stella Mc
Skinnies: Helmut Lang
Boots: Scorett
Sweater: Free People
